G’day everyone. We are Christine and Jean-Michel Favre, founders of Archery Systems.
Archery Systems is born out of a friendship and passion story. Passion for archery of course.
We met in 1992 while preparing for the Barcelona Olympic and Paralympic Games. After getting married, we welcomed our first two boys in France, and our third while living in China from 2000 to 2005. We moved to Adelaide in 2006 where we settled for good.
After a pause of 20 years, we decided to start again archery in early 2020 as our boys were all grown up. We removed the cobwebs and rediscovered the pleasure of shooting our equipment, consisting of prototype risers in 100% crossed-carbon and Arc Système accessories.
Back in the early 90s, as we were part of France’s Archery teams, Jean-Michel Barlet was our coach, when his brother Philippe Barlet founded Arc Système (AS). In 35 years, Arc Système has developed a fantastic reputation for quality and innovative products, designed by elite archers for beginners up to top archers. Customer service and product quality are everyday priorities of AS, focusing on the European market.
In 2011, Pierre-Julien Deloche (Male Compound World #1 in 2014 and 2015) joined AS to design new products like release aids or stab accessories. PJ as we call him, has since 2017 led the strategy and product development, still working very closely with Philippe Barlet. In mid 2024, the company structure changed, and PJ partnered with Morgan Bodon and Philippe to own the company.
To this day, all AS products are all 100% designed and made in France.
We have now developed a strong relationship with the AS management team, leading to being granted the exclusive dealership of the AS products for Australia and New Zealand.
We are very humble and grateful for the opportunity given to us, and will make every efforts to support these products to the satisfaction of local archers.
A lot of work was done in the last three years on this website, and more will be done, to give you knowledge about the products, how to select the ones you need, and how to set up and maintain. From documents to videos, this website will keep on growing, so please visit often and give us constructive feedback!
